Glad LStyle and his wife walked out with the car in a much better shape. Sorry about what happened to the car and the deer though.

Holy smokes that must have been one surprising accident huh? Just driving along and all a sudden bang there is a deer in front of you. You are lucky it wasn;t worst and at least now you can add some parts at the cost of the insurance company

Well, at least nobody [humans] got hurt.

I just happened to hit a deer today as well. Nothing happened b/c lucklly i was in my Jeep.
I had already stopped to let a momma deer and a little one cross the street. I looked for more and i didn't see any - as soon as I started to drive, another little one popped out before i had a chance to stop. I felt like crap all day since.

Glad you both walked away safely.

Any damage to the mechanics under the hood?

I don't think the deer made it. I didn't check it out because it was darka and on the other side of the expressway about 1/2 mile back. The cops didn't check it either because they had an officer down so they rushed my report and took off. I really feel bad for the deer as well.

I always wondered... is this covered by the insurance under 'no-fault'?
'Cause when I hit a brick on the road which destroyed by bumper and under panel, they said it was my fault that I hit it.
