Do you guys think this damage will be visible from standing next to the car or do you think it will only be noticeable if you get down low to look under the bumper? I am thinking of buying this car, but I haven't seen it in person and am relying on pictures e-mailed to me by the seller. Thanks.

I think it will probably be a lil bit visible but I would not let it stop be from getting the car lol.

i don't think it will be noticible standing next to the car and unless you point it out i don't think anyone would look that low. i wouldn't worry about it n if you are have it fixed or get a kit. i dunno

yeah yeah, last time I had a flat tire and the tow truck scratch my front bumper just like that, and I put on TTE, bing bing!!! The scratch is gone

dude, when i got my bumper painted back in april, a month later, the same thing happened to me but on the drivers side. i know, it hurts and it bothers you, but after a few days, you tend not to think about it anymore. but don't worry, if you are standing up and looking at the bumper, you can't really see it unless you crouch down and check it out.

i got that same problem i took an angle wrong going down a driveway ate the side... yeah i decided a front lip or front kit will solve the problem

Thanks for all of your opinions. I think I agree -- it shouldn't be noticeable unless you really crouch down or unless you know it's there and are looking for it.

As some of you know, unlike most of you, I'm kind of mod-a-phobic, so a TTE lip is not in my future. Repainting might be, though. Thanks again.

The owner I bought mine from ate it on both sides. There's also several paint chips on the bumper. Now the clear coat is peeling on the life corner of the bumper too. Arrrrgghh, why didn't I see these when I was looking at the car. Guess I was blinded by "love".

Yea I got the TTE lip but after I test fitted it, you can still see a little of the scrapes because it extends higher than the lip. Should I have this area worked on before installing the lip?

I would clean it up, then install the TTE lip.

Or get a lip that extends higher (like the Greddy or Wald)

As for everyone who did this and put on the lip to hide it, be careful driving as the clearance is even less. You can't put another lip on to hide the damage to the TTE.
