I checked the boxes that my piaas came in and are as follows- piaa plasmas blue from japan are:
h-93, hb 3.4, and h-93 .
The regular piaas are listed on box as: hb4. I have only found the 9006 for plasma blue not 9005. I purchased them from wilson at options auto salon. WWW.optauto.com 1800 678-2886. Hope this helps.

HID replacements or HID lookalikes
are the super plasmas replacements for my HID bulbs, or are they for people with reg. halogen headlights right now? I know I'm looking for a deeper blue, quality color out of my HIDs. Any thoughts from the experienced?

The Piaa Superplasma's are replacement bulbs for regular headlights (non-hid). Currently, the only way to get bluer color output from real HID's is to get 6000K bulbs sold aftermarket.
BTW, the older GS in the gallery with the Piaa Ion Gold is my car

heres a tip, if a bulb says HID, get the version one bluer than that and it shoudl be about HID matching, i bought one that said HID and it is still not a blueish white, pisses me off!
i need a GOOD set of 9006 bulbs and wedge bulbs for some blue blue niceness!
what color is HID? 6000K??
