Originally I set my budget on a 99 or y2k GS4 cause that's what I had and I love the sport shift but I just bumped into a 2002 GS430 pearl white with only $24k miles that I might not be able to pass up for the low milage. I might have to sacrafice my favorite color (silver) and the sport shift of the GS400 for this. From my understanding there are no sport shift on the 430 models. beside losing that is there anything else that I'll miss going to the GS430? What added feature is on the GS430 that the GS400 doesn't have? Will I regret not waiting out for a Y2K GS400? How's the performance on the GS430 compared tot he GS4? If I remember correctly the GS430 is slightly slower even with the larger engine but it made it heavier.
Need a favor from the white GS guys... can you pos pix of your white GS. If it's stock then I know what it is but if you have at least rims that would be good, if you have a kit that would be even better, especially the Explosion kit cause that's the kit that I always wanted for my old GS.

Dan,
All the questions you asked have been covered many times before, one sec and I'll hit you with some links. Try searching please![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We have a HUGE thread of white GS pictures I'm going to link that as well in the hopes we don't create two of them.
Here's the white GS thread

Should I get a GS400 or GS430
Try the search feature and you'll find a lot of the stuff you're asking, no waiting. For example, I searched for "gs400 gs430 difference' and found the following threads among others.

Ok after seeing a couple kitted white GS I think I feel better now. Here's how I see it
With silver GS, you can simply leave it and it would be half way decent, "presentable" rims would beef it up.
White GS, defintely need a kit and must have some rizms. But that was the plan anyways.
