LXO: Not sure if you've posted before, but what type of HP gains did you get out of the SC for your car? Any problems with it so far?
The thing for me that has deturred me from getting FI has always been hearing problems with always having to do little things after the install. Most of the time it's nothing major, but would still cost a couple hundred bucks here and there, plus having the car in the shop all the time. If this SC can eliminate or minimize those after install costs, I think that would help sway some ppl to get it (me included).

Rookie: Having a 2800 stall converter with a FI car will cause you to spin the rear wheels like butter. I think DaveGS4 had to get his Torque converter stall speed down to a 2400.
My GS300 baseline #'s were about 185rwhp. The LMS superstreet setup gave me 290 rwhp at 8psi. That was just a dyno run with no tuning. With tuning, guys have been getting about 305-310 rwhp in their IS/GS 300's. I had NO problems what -so-ever with the Superstreet kit. It's a solid setup. However, since that dyno run, I have already upgraded to their extreme custom setup for the GS300. Power should be around 340-350 range... Debut will happen very soon here on CL.
This is very important: Keep in mind that when you make the step to go FI, you better have reserve funds tucked away somewhere. You need to have extra money ready for emergency cases like broken parts, more gauges, tires and brake pads... You will see that when putting an additional 100 HP to the car, things may wear out faster. Better just be safer than sorry. I'm sure TLW or 00lexondub can tell you what kind of money they have spent on their recent setup.
One last thing. Luxury Motorworks/LMS is not trying to produce monster HP cars. They just want to build good, reliable kits that produce decent amount of HP. Plus their kits look sweet. If you guys want 400+rwhp, better start thinking about a custom turbo setup... Finally, GUYS... The pipes are polished, NOT chromed! haha
I hope I answered most of your questions...

430 All the way
Lexus has not made a 400 since 2000. Everyone with a 400 has AT LEAST 75,000 miles on there engine. Why would LMS make a supercharger for an old car with alot of miles on it. I am not saying anything bad about you 400 owners. Its a beautiful car (heck, its a lexus). I am just saying it would be better to manufacture one for a more recent car. If you can not afford 6,000 + you should not even vote (just my opinion).

Mileage means squat.
I would gladly put up 6K for a kit that has EVERYTHING bolt on for 100WHP.

You lose HP over the years. I think they should make a sc for both. Just the 430 first. If you can afford a 430 you can afford a SC. Lots of people are voting for the 400, but how many are going to actually by it?
LOL
look up Morris's posts
btw i have a 98 GS400 with 43,000miles
