my side marker near the front is blinking?
Hey guys, I circled the side marker thing in the image because i have two of them on one side so yall might know what im talking about .. but yeah .. that side marker thing on the passenger side of the car blinks rapidly but i dont know why .. the other side just stays lit .. i assume the previous owner did some type of mod ... would any of yall know how to correct this problem or remove the mod. Thanks in advanced guys.

hey guys ... i dont think its a defective bulb ... and it blinks without the turn signal on .. it just blinks when its on ... the other side however doesnt blink. And i checked to see if my turn signals were on. The bulbs blink very very rapidly as if someone wanted to make them look like that but i guess the previous owner did not mod the other side as well ... im sorry if this is not very descriptive but i am gonan go outside and take a look all around the car to see if i can see anything different than the other side.
oh yeah .. and may i ask where are the connections to these bulbs

take out your fog light, then reach in and there are two 10mm bolts that hold sidelights on to car.
remove them and pull out light and check connections.

Technically, you dont need to remove the side marker at all....just twist the bulb socket 1/2 turn counterclockwise.....then work with it thru the fog light opening....you will need to crouch down a bit....but its doable.

Ill give it a look .. thanks for the quick replies guys and ill get me a 10mm wrench hahaha
[edit]
I just checked it by twisting the socket 1/2 way and like you're right .. one of the bulbs were blown or something or they just werent working .. would that cause it to blink rapidly like that? if it would where would i find bulbs to replace it or are they just any kind of yellow led's because i can get that because my dad is an electronics repairman

#194 / 168 bulb.....you can get stock ones at walmart, kmart, target, or any autoparts store....should cost a couple of bucks at the most.
You can also replace with LEDs too.....same base size. Since you have the stock side markers (orange)...you can use regular white LEDs....but if you switch to clear side markers (sold on ebay), then get amber LED. Note that clear side markers with amber bulb or LED is NOT DOT approved.
Btw...check this link...

Side marker and wedge area uses same size base (194 / 168).
