I've worked on a few different types of cars and they "usually" have maf's.
You reset the computer because after the intake install - the computer is reading more air (vs stock air filter) and is throwing a code. When you reset the ecu - it compensates fuel for the increased air flow.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

The intake ecu sensor is located right on the intake pipe, thats why the srt intake comes with an upgraded one which tells the main ecu that the air flow is normal, when in fact its not , its way more and thus it produces more power. The srt intake I think it goes for around 500 .

I didn't know we had "intake ecu's" in our cars - where's that located at? I want to know who sell's "upgrade intake ecu's."

LoL didnt you read the previous posts, the engine light wont go of, with more air in the engine I believe the combusion is running to rich and thus showing a problem. If you were to go and scan the system for problems it will tell you its a problem with the intake. Srt intakes come with a chip that tells the ecu that there is nothing wrong. I think that if you run a intake with out a moddified intake chip then you actually might be loosing power , If I remember correctly the butterfly will restrict the air flow or something of that nature.
