you probably just got there too early. that happen last year to me. but its great to get your feet wet in the show scene if you really are looking to get into. its a great start so you can see how it is..congrats man on showing man, keep modding and you get rewarded. just don't get hooked it can get ugly if you do..good luck man.

As far as mods and showing goes I have a good grip on it thus far and I am planning on getting married next year and buying a new house and all of that stuff so I know my boundaries. I have also promised my girlfriend not to let it be a problem. I pay for everything in cash and don't even own a credit card so if I can't afford it I don't get it. Check out a few of the the pics below which show how much money goes into some of these cars. No way I can compete and i'm not even gonna try. I am happy with what I have and while I will continue to mod I am not going to kill my wallet doing it.

A lot of those trunk setups are way over the top. Are they made by the manufacturers of the products to showcase their products or are they done by the car owners? I think some look good but most are hideous. The transformer looks cool but is it to promote the new Transformers movie

wow, when you see cars like they are competing for the elite show car classes, so don't think you have to do anything like to win or do well at these shows. thats why they have classes like mild, wild, and elite...
