Once again, a great time was had by all. No rain after all.
Loved seeing the 2 IS300s there too.
And it was funny to see two other modded cars (rims and tints at least) - a Jag S-Type and a MB S-430 - come sort of close to the huge Lexus line-up, checking us out, but not all the way.
A few of us got our forms together for NOPI (see www.nopinationals.com) where we'll represent ClubLexus! Of course the swimsuit competition they have there did not influence my decision to go to NOPI at all.
I was well behaved and only did one mildly hot lap with SilverLex in the passenger seat, and in return he did one for me in his IS300. GREAT car. Going fast in a parking lot or behind stores is deceptive because it's not like going fast around other cars on regular roads, you can EASILY go too fast.
Anyway, we've come a long way since the first get together last year with just me and CSR.
LexRX - thanks very much for bringing the sodas... and 1SICKLex, thanks very much for bringing the raffle tickets, name tags, roster pad, etc.!
Fun fun fun... in the hot sun!

Finally some IS's and another RX!! I love the look of the IS, especially in silver, and would SO be driving one if the RX weren't so handy while in college. Maybe by the time I am ready to give up the RX I will be able to get a GS4--

Ah yes, it was a fun time, and a treat for me as an IS owner to see what lies ahead. All of you had some incredible setups.
Bit, your ride was fantastic and enjoyed the hot lap. And you're not kidding about speeds in a parking lot. I forgot to go back and collect the rubber I left next to that curb I almost plowed into Could you tell I was a beginner? I didn't do the IS justice, but you got the point
Looking forward to the next one. I'm serious about that Andretti speedway - if anything it'll save the rubber on our rides.
It was a pleasure all.
Take care

It was a hot day in HOTLANTA I really mean it. It was HOT standing in that parking lot.
I counted 20 cars ranging from a '90 LS to '01 ISs and an '01 GS 430. Great to see the turn out growing!!
We even had a Bimmer owner join us as a guest -- probably to check out the real driving machines
And we had prizes. A really nice goody to add to the fun of ooohing and aahing over each other's cars. Next meet even more prizes!
Looking forward to the next meet. Maybe we'll squeeze it in before the NOPIs.
Good seeing you all.

Alternatively, I know a real quiet fairly big parking lot in Norcross right off Peachtree Industrial.

That new Super Target outside of D&B is huge. Could be pretty empty on Sundays. Much more visable. And then you could still run a couple laps over at D&B if it's too visible.
