Binno and Rodao wheels? Have you heard of these?
Binno is a division of Borbet. There is a set for sale in the classifieds. I believe they are all one piece rims, but I dont know if they are knock-offs or not.
I just spoke to the owner of the only U.S ditributorship. He is a VERY nice guy. He was also unaware of this forum until I mentioned it to him.
Also, I think this has been addressed recently but, what is the difference between the forged and cast rims???
Are these two different methods of fabricating the wheel? What are the advantages/dis advantages of each? Thanks as always, Tiny

Sorry about the late reply...I didn't see the post! HONEST!
I have HEARD of Binno but not Rodao...dunno much about them...I just know what I saw on their website...didn't look too interesting to me though...sorry..
As for CAST vs. FORGED...
CAST WHEELS - These rims are manufactured by pouring aluminum alloy into a mold. These are generally the lowest priced wheels and are usually the heaviest. Quality varies from supercheapo to excellent. Every low-end rim is forged...but some high end rims, like Lowenhart use special casting technqiues which make them stronger than wheels from knock-off manufacturers...but they're still heavy.
FORGED WHEELS - These rims start off as a block of high quality aluminum alloy which is then pressed into a disc (with thousands of tons of pressure) and then CNC machined into a center section or rim. This produces a radial grain internal structure in the aluminum alloy which is the strongest type for wheel use. In contrast, cast wheels have no grain (they're like particle board).
Forged is the way to go but it's also the most expensive...
