what type of bulb did u use for the q45 retro's? Is it d2s or d2r? Fellow CL member Tiguy99 recently retrofitted a pair of q45s for me but it turns out the bulbs i have dont fit. I just want to make sure I buy the right bulbs. Sweet lookin ride man. I love the color, probably because I have the same color GS much props.

what type of bulb did u use for the q45 retro's? Is it d2s or d2r? Fellow CL member Tiguy99 recently retrofitted a pair of q45s for me but it turns out the bulbs i have dont fit. I just want to make sure I buy the right bulbs. Sweet lookin ride man. I love the color, probably because I have the same color GS much props.

and i know its been discussed
you could use the stock GS headlights D2s but you had to cut a notch to make them fit
let me try and find some info

I know this is OT also but I have the same type problem the rollmodel does. I had a retrofit done and the bulb that is in the retrofit does not mount properly to the ballast I took from my HID kit. The ballast has two prongs that attach to the HID bulb and the HID bulb in the retrofit takes a circular type mount from the ballast. Anyone know what I can do? I will try to upload pics

D2S is made for headlamps that have a projector in it. ( what you have )
