Default Thin socket for Wheels?

I just got my lugs and trying to put them on...I was told just to use a regular four prong socket(19mm) but its scratching the inside of the lug hole I called pepboys they don't have a thin walled socket and Advanced auto doesn't have one either? What to do?

find a rim dealer in your area that does high end wheels and just pay them to bolt them on or ask if they will sale you a thin wall socket, also a snap on or matco dealer will have them, look in your yellow pages

Well i broke down and just ordered the socket and Gorilla wrench from Tirerack I had a feeling i was going to have to do this after looking at someone else's post a few weeks ago about this.. Should be here in two days... It was 21.49 all together with shipping...

The funny thing is is that the picture from tirerack of the socket looks like the same thickness as the 19mm i already have? Maybe it just the picture? Well we will see on Friday.....Whats another two more days without wheels? I've waited this long....

one thing after another

I believe you need a 21MM socket, this is what I use on stock 17's and on 20's, Sears should have a good thin wall socket.

Well my stock is 21mm and for my rims is 19mm.. I tried to use a regular 19mm socket and I'm scratching the inside..... The whole is small on my new rims so i just have to becareful and hopefully the thin socket works

Find a store that sells tuner wheels and ask for tuner lugs. I recently bought some that cost $40 for all 20 plus the key. They all require the key so it's like having 20 locking lugs.
