Default correct coolant???...

i SWEAR i tried searching for this answer but i got tired of searching after a 1/2 hr i wonna know if i purchased the correct coolant. i remember reading on here, but i dont remember where that i could purchase the coolant for our lexus from a toyota dealer (its MUCH closer to me and i guess its also cheaper). so i went ahead and purchased the factory red fluid. the toyota part number is 00272-1LLAC-01 and was like $13. there was also another kind, the mixed one??? i guess w/water, so i got the one that was not mixed. any clue??

Default your coolant question.

there is currently two coolt type from the factory.
red type - not premix. reg. change every 30K
pink type - mixed and this is the long life type. 100K
if you go with this type you'll need about 2 gallons if you drain the block.

really no headache- just open the cap and the drain on radiator, let it all run out, and refill with red coolant and distilled water 50/50. If your coolant was nasty, do process again after driving a little.
