Default Let me see your 20's!!!!

Hey all, I have a problem. My poor GS400 is sitting in my driveway with two flat tires and some very plain chrome lexus wheels. I have a small window to go get some wheels and tires tomorrow. And I am going crazy trying to figure out what looks good! I know I want 20's, and I am not going to off set them (they'll all be the same size and width). I live in AZ and I get flat tires ALL the time, so I don't want the difficulty of having different sized wheels in front and back.

Please post your pics so that I can get an idea of some nice 20s! I am overwhelmed looking at catalogues, and it doesn't really work unless you can see them on the car.

does an old-azz pic of my old GS count?? These were 20x8.5 all the way around +38 offset. Not available anymore either, but you get the idea.

BEAUTFUL. Thanks for the post. It's hard to look through thousands of GS400 pics in the gallery. Especially if I don't know what size some of the wheels are.

Whats the basic style your looking for (5spoke, mesh, chrome silver, etc) and whats your budget with tires? We can go from there!

Gotta make my contribution to the Dronnel CA-05 appreciation thread!! LOL 20x8.5 all around 35 offset, 245 front / 255 rear tires. Man its so good to have a 5spoke wheel again LOL

Definitely like the 5 spoke. I like the solid and the split spoke look. I also like the rivets around the edge too on some wheels. I am getting a pretty good deal on my set up (not the most expensive, to say the least), but I'm freaked out that whatever I choose might look "chintzie".

The guy said he has a good deal on Pirellis right now. What do you think about Pirellis? Are nittos better? Toyos?

Pirelli's are good, although I'm not all too keen on their large and round sidewall (looks kinda bulky IMHO), I have also had a few reports of them bubbling easy, but a couple of our resident Pirelli owners could better relate their findings.

Well, take a look at this link and let me know if you like the Columbo, we have one set left if silver staggered 20" with chrome lip. And if you want we can just sell you the wheels, since you have a tire connection

we have a member who just bought those wheels and has them on his gs and they look great. simple 5 spoke with massive lips front and rear and still plenty of room for Big brakes if you ever decide to go that route...

They are gorgeous. However I have my heart set on chrome. Not sure about the silver. . .

Ok, no problem, if you want the more chrome type look, we have a new 2pc JDM dish face wheel with a forged inner barrel and a 20x8.5 / 20x10 with a 2.5" front and 3.5" rear lip, its a company called Sequence. Of course you can get 20x8.5 all around if you want. The staggered package is about 2150 chrome no tires.

Here is a pic of them in 20" staggered on a CLK

Again on a 645 22" staggered
