Would a shift **** from the new GS fit on 2nd generation GS?

I think so. I've been eye balling them everytime I'm at dealer. they seem about the same length and I would assume the threads are same.

I really like the 06 GS ****. If anyone decides to pull the trigger please let us know how it works. The wood even seems to be pretty close
