Wow, I need to look at the original post date. I was reading and halfway through, someone asked if there was anybody with the Prussian Blue fenders and I was gonna post that coincidentally, there is a member selling his car with those same fenders, and come to find out this post was actually about the same car, heheh. If I had the cash, it'd be mine. GLWS

Default from tkracing to 98g-ride... now to the next???

To make the story short as possible, i bought this car from tkracing almosts 3 years ago. at that time, the car had low 99,xxx miles. almost 3 years later... car still have 99,xxx miles. i bought this car thinking i'm gonna be driving it, going to car club meets & so on....NOPE. as an auto tech for Lexus, i did the 90k, T-belt, water pump, oil seal, idler & tensioner pulley. front lower ball joints, battery, drivebelt, 95k & 100K. & many more... since then, the past 3 years i may have driving the car only total 700 miles. tkracing & I have the issue from when he owned the vehicle. We just don't drive this car enough to enjoy it & it is also taking up room in the garage as well. at that time, tkracing sold me his ride for $22k. reasonable price. now I am selling for $19,995. still in the same condition as before only this time...maitenance are up to date & concedering 3 years have almost pass, lowered price for quick sale. Another reason why i am selling this car is... the pass 2 years, my job here in Lexus have slowed down. so i have taking up a 2nd job doing construction. which leads me to needing a truck, therefore i am asking for trades for those who have a Toyota pickup trucks. i am hoping to sell/trade this ride here to a fellow CL enthusiast. someone who can appreciate what this vehicle have. here are some more pics from when tkracing was advertising the car for sale back then...

We here in NorCal miss seeing Troy's (TKRacing) car at local meets and activities. His car was a fine addition to the stable of GS's in our region.

Too bad you never came out to any meets. TAMR_GUS98 and RTIS250 are long time Lexus Techs who are activily involved in local activities.Too bad you couldn't have joined them as part of our local crew. We also gave them a lot of sideline business, so you could of leveraged some of that "extra" income.

Hope you find the car a good home with hopes that the next owner will bring the car back out to local meets.

TAMR_GUS98 and RTIS250 are my former co-workers. i worked with them for 7 years. they both vouch for me in selling this car since i have a low post count. with other side jobs going & my other construction job, i've been too busy to come out to any meets or activities. but things have change a bit here at Lexus & my other job. it slowed down allowing me some free little time. if i do sell this car this month... that would be great. if i don't, i might just keep the car until someone serious enough wants to buy it. until then, i would like to come out to one of the local meets. i still do intend to stay w/ CL & in the future get a different Lexus if i do sell this car. if not, this car might just come out of hibernation whenever there's a meet or an activity. so with that said, does anybody know when is the first local meet is here in the sf east bay area?
