This SUCKS
A little Recap.
1. I bought 18' used Salinas from another member.
2. After driving on the original tires and feeling bad vibrations I took it up to the tire shop.
3. Front left tire was damaged, had sidewall buldge, Front right tire was bald on the inside side.
4. Left shop and bought new tires.
5. Went back to shop and had new tires mounted.
6. Left shop and felt slight vibration that gets pretty bad from 60-80
7. Had shop recheck.
8. Shop said they forgot to mention that the tech found a bend in the left front wheel.
9. Returned to shop where we also found the front right wheel bent.
So $750.00 for wheels, $650.00 for tires, and another $120.00 for labor and i have a set of wheels that feel like crap.
How much should I expect to pay to get out the 2 flat spots on the rims? They are about 1-2 inches in length, somewhat slight.
Anyone know if Transwheel in Tampa are any good or should I ship them to some other company?
Mods, could you leave this in the main forum for just a little.

As far as the seller, I am sure he will read this, it is up to him if he wants to make ammends on the sale. I guess paying for the repair would be nice but dunno...

For a minor bend, I would say 100-150. Us Nor Cal guys just had our meet at Wheel Techniques and they do a kick azz job on wheels. Too bad you are in FL. It is possible the seller didnt know they were bent but hopefully if he did he will help you out.

i don't know if the Salina's are Aluminum or steel... I think they are CAST so i guess that means steel... I think Steel is a little cheaper to repair.
Thanks for the info Shawn.

Sucks man, I know how you feel, I had the same issue with some used wheels that I bought here...but just suck it up and go on with it, really no way of getting something fixed, it's not like buying them through a business, that way you could of gone to the better business bureau...but alas my friend, you'll get thru, just think, it would of cost a lot more to get brand new wheels...right?
