Default Having issues taking off my steering wheel. Please help.

Hey fellas,

I'm trying to remove my steering wheel, but I'm having some problems. I removed the airbag and the 19mm bolt in the middle already.

I then tried using the oem steering wheel remover https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...l&pagenumber=5

But here's the problem. I screwed the two side bolts in, and started to screw the middle bolt in to pull the steerring wheel out.

After a couple of revolutions, one of the side bolts begins to get loose and seems to be stripping. I tried screwing the side bolts all the way in, but no dice, one of the side bolts seems to always get loose while the other stays tighted inside. If i keep trying to screw the middle bolt, one of the side bolts eventually will come out. I have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Please help.

Sounds like you could have some bad threads on the holes for the bolts. You probably need a tap set so you can make new threads or clean them up.
