Default Hello to all.

Just want to say what's up to everybody. I haven't been here for a while...dang, new layout, nice site. Just wanted to share a bad photo of my GS. Here it is: 99' GS400, Black/Black/Black Emblems, NAV, SSR Sovereign 19 x 10, 19 x 9 (just over 4" of lip on the rear, 3" on the front), Falken Tires stretched like a drifter (they don't make anything wider than a 275 , but I got a smoking deal trust me, I do NOT like the lack of sidewall and the massive amount of stretch, I'm just waiting for these to wear so I can get something new), HKS/L-Tuned Exhaust (yes HKS makes the L-Tuned Exhaust), '01 tailights, TTE grill, NEW HKS Hipermax RS suspension (prototype set I'm testing for them, you think my SN has anything to do with that? These are new and ride better than all the others) The pictures dont do this car justice, you can't see all the scratches, rock chips, and how low it really is; the narrow tire tucks about half way under the fender. This car can be seen daily on the car show circuit called L.A. traffic. Anyhooo, I'll try not to lurk too often and chime in when I can. Enjoy!!

Thanks guys.
You mentioned your tires are strecthed, what size are the tires and what size are plannibg to get?
I had Toyo Proxes T1S on there before, 245/40/19 & 275/35/19, yes wrong size, but at the time I needed as much ground clearance as possible. I switched 'em out cuz they wore and also because they sounded like a truck rolling down the street, Loud as....I went to Falken Azenis ST115, 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 cuz I got a smoking deal on them thru someone I know at Falken. I will be switching back to Toyo, but the new T1R. 245/35/19 up front, maybe a 285/30/19 out back.

275 width tires on a 10" width rim is not a stretch....
Of course that is debatable. If the lip of your rim sticks out farther than the tire, I consider it a stretch. But it's got the killer VIP look. Not all manufacturers are consistent with the width of the tire, at least from what I've experienced.

Here are some more pics of the different wheel & tire sizes I have used.

285/35/19 Toyo on 19 x 9.5 Volk Racing GTC's when I had them a couple of years ago.

SSR 19 x 10, 275/35/19 Toyo-taken 10/03

Same SSR's, Same Toyo's

Same SSR's on Falken 275/30/19, sorry bad shot, camera phone

Same SSR/Falken combo-different angle
