Anyone recommend a goo aftermarket radiator?
I need to replace mine asap, just wondering if it was worth going aftermarket or just ordering a stock one.
Also an aftermarket one should just drop in right? i shouldn't have to modify much/anything to use it correct?

cannonbear,
most radiator shops offer "rebuilt" radiators that can replace your old radiator. what it is actually is an old radiator of the same model that they remanufacture and repaint, using the same shell. that is why most radiator shops must take your old radiator when they replace it.
however, there are other alternative ways, like getting an aftermarket japanese radiator. ask the mechanic to get you one of those if you don't want a rebuilt radiator. rebuilt or aftermarket, it should cost you with labor around $150. make sure they change the thermostat while they are at it and put in a new thermostat gasket as well.
