Default A/C pass. side blowing hot

Hello from Wash, DC, where it's 100+ degrees F:

My 99 GS4 seems to be blowing air that is much colder on the driver's side than on the passenger's side. Yes I have "dual" button off, and both sides are set to max cold. No matter what I do, the pass. side doesn't get as cold as the driver's side.

I had a previous similar problem with another car of mine, and it was the a/c blend door being stuck in a paritally open position where it let in some hot air. I assume it's the same problem in my GS.

Can anybody recommend how to reset it, or how I can get to the blend door (if that is the problem)?

Thanks,

Bill B.

No idea...seems like a blockage somewhere....but check ur a/c filter...have it cleaned out. Its located behind the glove box....check ur manual...it shows u how to remove and clean.

goodluck.

I'm experiencing the same problem with my 99 GS3. Did you get this problem fixed? If so, what was the problem.
