I am posting this to get opinion, but I have finally come to a rim that I really like.

Also I have posted this to see what Manaray thinks. hehe -

Only problem is that it won't be available for 2 months.

No bling bling chrome - - - Silver 19x8.5 and 19x10/9.5

Great choice.. Myself I would go with the chrome but to each his own.. I haven't read anything negative about the L-Sportline rims..

How much are the silver 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5 or 10 going to cost you??

19 inch is a good choice for the GS.. I probably would of gone with the same or 18" front and 19" rear..

They cost around $862.00 for the 8.5 inch and about $878.00 for the 9.5 - in silver.

Yeah they are costly, not jumping right into these. Because I can get M5 Racing Harts or C2 Racing Harts in 19" cheaper by at least $200 a piece.

But I do like this new rim from L-sportline called Model 4. The reason I think a lot of people will like it is because it looks like the old C5 RH, but a little bit bolder.

Peace,

I like those rims but I like the ones they have the IS better. It's a LITTLE bit different...there's no "tear drops" on the bolt holes and the edges of the spokes are different (as is the bolt pattern around the edge)...

The only things I don't like about the L-sportlines is that they're overpriced (you can get HRE's, Fikse's or Kinesis wheels for the same price) and they're heavy (compared to forged wheels).

Manaray - what is the IS? I didn't follow that one. Sorry

I was also looking at the HRE 547 19" - Mo from Swift has a set of these and they are very nice. Supposedly the Model IV is forged and lighter than previous L-Sportlines. Well at least that is what the Sales guy said - you know they always tell the truth.

If I can get the HRE 547 in the same price range then I would consider it. For now they are $1000 a piece.

Still some time to come before I go ahead and do it, I think. I have other things to worry about.

I was thinking about a body kit - L-Sportline - played out in Cali - but in Georgia, there is not a person that I know of that has one.

Or perhaps a TTE front Lip Spoiler and just lower the car. What do you think?

Genearch:

I have not spoken to Joey. I am supposed to hear from him soon about becoming a dealer in the SE. There are not many Lexus Tuners/Aftermarket shops here in Atlanta. Tired of calling Cali for everything

Don't get me wrong - I like Cali.

I haven't seen the Model V yet. What do they look like? Got a pick?

Do you know Joey at Dazz? I spoke with Ryan there.

I like Chrome on Black - if I had black - chrome would be a contender. I have a white GS430 and I think Silver looks really good on it.

Still debating between 18 or 19 - UGH!! - I thought I want 19's - but I just think about potholes

Knguyen - Sorry, I ment to say "The version they have on the IS300"...check out the photo below...notice it's not the SAME rim?

Anyways, if the new Model 4's are forged, they should be strong and light and the price you gave would reflect a forged rim...before, they were charging outrageous prices for cast wheels..

I would do 19"...Don't end up like TinyGS...he bought 18's and now he wants 20's because the 18's look too small!

No Photo

if you can post that would be great. I liked your STB for front and rear - they were very nice. Very detailed.

Those are the last of the handling pieces you should add correct? Should be sway bars first - if I am not mistaken and then STB? - of course springs and shocks or coilovers - if you prefer ..

Please post the pic - very interested in seeing what they look like. Also would be interested to see the Model V genearch has been talking about.

Duh, a photo might have helped! See, CRACK DOES ***** YOU UP!

Anyways, thanks for the STB install compliment. You can do any of the suspension upgrades in any order to tell you the truth. If you want the STB's first, no problem...if you want the coilovers (or spring/shocks) first, no problem...sways first? Again, no problem...

The coilover (or spring/shocks) are the most time consuming to install. Then the Sways...the STBs are easy and you can do them yourself...plus they are the least expensive to get into first.

If you're going to do the Sways, also do the front Lower Chassis Brace...(it's only like $170 extra)...
