Default bumper repair or replace

I've gotten a couple of quotes to repair and paint my bumpers. Two places both right around 500 for each. I also have seen online that you can get the bumper cover brand new primed for like 250 shipped. Any advice. The bumper cover says OEM. Does that sound right ($250 that is)? I'd like to get the TTE lip for the front, but don't want to put it on a scarred up bumper with holes for the front plate and all.

YEAH..Mine got nicked up at my parking garage. The garage guy kept on denying that he nicked it up. I know my car, and I don't park in tight places. Usually park between two driveways if I have to park on the street, so know one hits my bumpers. I was thinking of a repaint, but i love the look of the l-tuned bumpers. What is the lowest price I can get them for, savings code? Does it come prepainted in black as well?

what's an L-tune bumper? you mean L-sportline? two different brands. L tune doesn't make bumpers(or anything else anymore)

I figured. I like the L-sport front bumper, plus, I believe it's poly like oem.

$500 a piece ???? DANG !!!!!

I got mine repair and painted for $220 installed (but easy to install).

I would fix it and paint the original ones, unless it's in pieces

Good luck

JAY

nothing yet. I don't know if I'd get an Lsport or oem front .I want to eventually ditch my front bumper because of the holes from the license plate holder it came with and a few imperfections. rear bumper has a few little indents that only I know about but bugs me too. I'd probably go oem or RMM rear.

anyway- I spent my money on wheels, L-tune aero kit etc.., and now coil overs on order. the bumpers are still on the list, but they are lower in priority

repair your oem for cheap but if you add a TTE lip, that will cost you the same amount for getting a lsportline or other aftermarket bumper... Why? Might as well get a new lsportline!

If I thought that I would be able to get wheels and coilovers in time, I probably would go L-Sportline, but I actually love the look of the TTE and the OEM bumper. If I got both at the same time I could probably get it molded, but I'm kinda with ChuckB in that it's pretty low on the priority list. I need suspension before anything, and I'd like to get that intake from you Jay.

Yes, it is Poly. It feels like rubber - so not something that is going to crack.
