this is a long time coming but well worth the wait. Your trip up to NorCal was a great opportunity for you to stop by my house and demo it LIVE to Neo and Rominl.
Aside from the actual design, the functionality of this set up is great. Movies, Nav, music all stored on the hard drive without having to swap discs and ya never know when it might come in handy do access Excel or Powerpoint in the car !

Car computer update
I guess it been over a year and the car computer and sounds are doing fine.
I'm not bragging but alot of PM have been coming in and asking alot of questions.
The car is still stock but like you all know its a neverending project.
I just updated my HIDs with 6000K bulbs with help from RMMGS4 and Rominl THANKS GUYS will take night pics later and post but for now...I'll answer some questions.
I used a Xenarc touch screen that has 3 inputs therefor you can use a camera, I have another friend who used a Lililput screen and has had problems.
Location: I put it in the glove box as I was concerned about the heat thing. My buddy's is in a case under is passenger's seat and it gets HOT but still no problems.
XM or Sirius: I think most software out there supports XM, I don't have either because with 60GB harddrive and only running XP, I have a ton of MP3s

Oh yeah Rominl; I do have a spare under the amp board and the amp boad is on a hing I forgot but I still haven't used it yet.

Speakers ???
I had to change the speakers as the signal coming from the computer isn't strong enough so you need some extra stuff, a line driver and a good sound card...oh and an amp to push the power.
