I was thinking about picking up a gs300 and wanted to know if there was any tuning shop websites that spiecialize in 1j motor and trans swaps into lexuses, and sites where i can order performance parts for it after the swap in english

You need to give more info. First what year GS, second they put 2j's on the GS not 1j's like in the SC's.

I don't ever recall seeing a gs3 1st or 2nd gen with the 1jz motor swap.Thats usually done to sc's. You usually see a 2jz-gte swap in a gs3 1st gen and 2nd gen.

i believe 1jz is all around cheaper to swap and fix up, but no i have never seen a 1jz swap in a 1GS or 2GS or even a 3GS (couldnt see that happening but who knows)

well actually there was a 1jz in a 1st gen gs that sport compact car did in may issue!! here is the post in the first gen section and the article tells you all u need!!! check out the post it was discusssed!!!!

SRT up in maryland... expect to spend big bucks though a project like that i can see go easily 10K+
