Default air conditioning question

99 gs400. a/c is still cold, but i hear a faint sloshing sound behind the dash somewhere when the compressor kicks in or going uphill/downhill.

is it something i should be worried about? is it a sign that the a/c is going to need recharging?

Default Should Not Be A Problem With Your A/c

The sloshing sound you hear is most likely the coolant sloshing around. I think youhave air in the cooling system that needs to be bled out.

There are many articles in the forum that discuss bleeding the cooling system. I base my opinion on the statement you made that said that your AC is still cold. If it is still cold, then your system is adequately charged and does not need any more R-134. Refrigerant is under high pressure, and the level is not affected by the angle of your vehicle at any time.

Check your coolant and do the bleed procedure. I hope this fixes your car!
