New pics of my ride
Well Im almost done with my car... The only thing I have left to do is to install my brembo rotors and breaks...
Millie Miglia Evo-5 18" rims with Khumo tires and under the hood is a K&N FIPK
I installed the 02+ taillights
This is the Pioneer AVIC D1 with a rear view camera instlaled in the trunk keyhole and a DVD in the glove box.
I may have to drop my car at least an inch but for now Im pretty happy.
The K&N FIPK really enhanced the sound of my car so much that I may even skip on the exhaust.
What do you think?

Nice! I got the same wheels as you but mine are 17's.
I just love your deck too. What model and how much did you get it for? I'm looking into replacing my stock with a double size deck similar to yours.
Oh, just a suggestion but a TTE lip would do wonders for your front end. I love mine.

tmf2004,
THe K&N took alittle bit of patience to install it but it was pretty easy. I dont think theres a difference in the idle but I can tell you there is DEF a diff in the sounds, especially from inside.
jtgs400,
THe deck is awesome! Its the Pioneer AVIC-D1.. I was looking into the Eclipse 5435 also but the pioneer is much more functional and has alot more possibilities.
It doesnt play DVDs so youll have to install a DVD player somewhere but those are pretty cheap.
You can a D1 for about 1100 or so. If your in NJ than I can send you to the guy who installed mine.
I would make a couple of suggestions.... I got the face plate from www.l-tunedparts.com . Im sure anyone can fabricate one but the material is the exact same material and color as the climate control so it looks much cleaner.
I didnt want to buypass my stock Nak amp and I didnt want to add a new one amp. Most places I went to didnt know how to install a headunit into the stock Nak amp. The wire harness is made for the Toyota 4Runner and I think its made by Metro.
I also blew my sub because I put too much power to it... Now Im instlaling an amp and a new sub. Id suggest doing that from the get-go.
Let me know if I can help with any other install questions.

My biggest fear with dropping my car is that Im gonna start to get lots of squeeks and noises after doing it. Also, I dont want to drop it too low where Ill be scraping speed bumps and driveways.
As well, I dont want to stiffen my ride too much. If I could lower it but keep a similar to stock feel than id be much happier. Any suggestions?

I love the rims, I always liked them, I thought of getting those or the Moda's they have on Tire Rack, but 19's.. Car looks good, lower it 1" like guys say.. My car is all stock, with stock 17's but I got my stereo upgraded, I thought of getting Eclipse double din that you considered but was affraid that the kit would not match, but you answered my question of where to get it. I saw some pics of guys with great stereo stuff, but the kit did not match...
