Default HRE's are 1st MOD

I just wanted to post some pics of the first mod I have done to my GS300 after being a member of CL for 3 years and reading a lot on this forum. I have learned a lot from everyone on here and impressed with your knowledge and passion for these cars. After seeing another members Iforged wheels that were black with chome lips and loved the look I decided to have my HRE's powder coated.

Thanks,

Andrew

I told myself as soon as I saw it that it needed to be dropped but hate to spend the money and worried about ride quality. I have read a lot on here about the different options. They are 18".

Wheels are nice, but you definitely need to drop it. The gap is pretty large. After the drop, your GS will look 100 times better.

FYI, the ride quality on my old GS w/ the l-tuned suspension was good.

I just put on these exact Toyo's with my 18's and I gotta drop it also. One question, at highway speed, do you find these tires alittle loud ?

The wheels look great. Black on black cant go wrong. You really do need to lower it though, it will make a huge difference. Also polish up the wheels and put the center caps in, that might help
