thanks for the warm welcome, guys. much appreciated. looks like the community is mature and professional here.
yes, definitely searching is in order. we tell our newbs the same over at yotatech too i've done some searching on performance mods as well as wheels. t'was quite disappointed to find out that the performance (HP increasing) mods are quite limited and that the SC for this vehicle is $4500!!! comparatively, a SC for a 3.4L 4runner is about $1800 at the most.
oh well, when you go big, you have to pay big
we'll take some pics today of the bone stock mobile and post it later today.
thanks,
bob

A H-U-G-E welcome, and thanks for the laugh. It's 5:20pm and I needed it.

Lexus Champion
Welcome Bob (and Patty),
I think you'll find many Lexus owners have other Toyota products, and many are also enthusiasts.
For example, my 'fun' car is a 1985 Toyota MR2 which my father bought new. I've had the car for over a decade now, and I'm mid way through a major resurrection- turbocharged/intercooled 4-AGZE engine, TEC-II computer, total respray with custom 18" AVUS wheels, powder coated suspension... basically, your average $30K MR2 with 309 hp.
My brother (Link 13) has a GS 300 and an '85 Corolla GT-S hatchback- this car has been re-sprayed and we are in the midst of building an 11.3/1 compression 20V block with a trick 16V head with cams. I guess it runs in the family.
Anyway, feel free so share your Toyota experiences with us, and many of the folks here are Lexus-modifying gurus, so use us as a resource. Congrats on the GS3, they are great cars!
