First off i would like to say hi to everyone since this is my first post.
Now to my question. I wan to put nitrous on my car but have no idea of how much I should put. I was as much as the car can handle on a stock engine.
Thanx in advance for the help.

from what people have recomended before you shouldnt go over 70-75 shot if your engine is still stock so between 50-75 would be safe for your car Im getting a 75 shot as soon as my bodykit is put on

From what I understand the Venom kit is a 50-100 shot depending on how much your engine can take at that specific time. I don't know as much as I'd like to know about this kit. But I do know that its specially made for the GS400. Mean Gene would know more about this than me. Is there anyone on the board with Nitrous? If so how big of a shot? And what kind of track times are you running?

Little Longer
Talked with Greg at Venom & he said it'll be just a little longer on the GS4 kit. Someone has a Nitrous Express kit on their GS but I forgot who. Based on Mo's research of the GS fuel system only being able to handle 400 flywheel horsepower, if U're totally stock then a 75 hp shot would be the max I'd recommend going. If U're modded ( as R most of the Members ), 35-40 hp would be pushing it, IMO. My GS dyno'ed at 255 rwhp & figuring 75% driveline efficiency, that correlates into 340 flywheel hp so, using the magic 400 hp number, even a 50 shot would probably cause the injectors to go static & a lean condition could occur - read BURNED PISTONS!!! Will let everyone know as soon as Venom contacts me about availability & remember that I spoke with a Venom vendor in North Carolina about a possible group buy which he said he could do with at least 4 people.
Chino - As a rule of thumb, U can figure on dropping about .1 in the quarter for every 10 additional flywheel horsepower gained. The reason my track time reductions over stock are greater is due to the T/C & RMM LSD as well as Mo's stuff.

Not That I Know Of
Concept - Right now, I'm not aware of anyone that makes an ECU/fuel injector package that would provide ya with both larger injectors ( maybe 30 lbs/hr ) & the software to manage them. It's not like the old days of just bolting on a larger carb - things must interface with the factory ECU system (which is a hacker's nightmare - that's why no one has a chip or stand-alone ECU for the GS ). I'm sure someone will break the Lexus code eventually.

LOL...I too was considering this at one point...I had NX on my last car, but after seeing how much the Lexus 4.0 motor costs, I was like no way...It is not worth the risk. I blew my ls-1 up luckily my cuz works at a Chevy dealership....
To all of you considering this mod...DO NOT GET GREEDY!!!!!
Good Luck...I will not lie...If I have money after the 20s and coils, this is a mod I am going to use, but mostly for show with some carbon fiber bottles...2 of me...LOL...
