Default gs430 dynoed today

hey guys.. i got the gs430 dynoed today,
im a little disspaointed by i am upgrading some things now to get my numbers up, im not sure if it is becacsue im running a RMM SC kit on a 430 or what.. because the 400s get more power than me

anyways. i got 319.8 to whels on pump gas, and 301.3 torque.

anyways, anyone got any ideas on how to get the numbers up?

right now i have alrady ordered a new Vortech by pass valve..
my options i think are to get new pulleys, and add a little nos..
what do you guys think?

Rick a stock GS 400/430 only puts down about 245 at the rear wheels, you are over 300 so relax man, also nos is only temporary horse power.

How so?? Indio said 245 stock at the wheels and he dyno at 319 at the wheels.. so 319-245=74 ??

That does eem low but this is a kit that was meant for the 400 and not the 430 but still going from 235 rwhp stock to 320rwhp is nothing to ba upset about. its still an very nice number to start with. I wouldn't start messing with nos man, its a show car not a track car.

Mo. I don't think J ever dyno'd his car. That 389 is the most I ever heard of someone doing with the sc and that was I think Pimp who pulled 389 rwhp, most guys I think get 360rwhp-370rwhp or so.

If I remember right Pimp pulled 389rwhp and than Dave bought his kit and was able to get 365rwhp out of it..Not sure why it went down but that roughly what they do normally..360-370rwhp. which dam is crazy power when you think about it..

i would use nos for a dyno run and then keep it dry for shows, like you said A i dont race the car i try to show it..

also i was hoping to have over 350 to the wheels, that is why im a little upset, i knew since the kit wasnt actually made for the car i would be able to put up the same type of numbers as the tturbopimp, davegs4, and people liek that, but i was hopin to get over 350.

i am runnign Halltech interceptor as my fuel /air ..

now with all that being said, ( and nos being only for show), how can i get my numbers over 350.. my shop told me that this vortech by pass valve would help a little, but wha tnow? do you guys thing the smaller pulleys so i can run hihger boost (im at 6lbs right now) would be a good solution for the more power?

Mo don't worry about it man, I was confused for a long time about this aswell.

stock gs4-430 is 300 hp at he crank but by the time it gets to the rear wheels its about 235 rwhp, so we count that as real power not what it makes in engine but what it pushes to the ground.

so Rick is saying 320 rwhp, thats a nice jump from 235rwhp about 85 rwhp gain and about 385 total at the crank.

I'm sorry but why do you want to nos it on a dyno? If anything nos it on the 1/4 run to get a nice time.
