0-60 is said to be the same (5.9 seconds) But I've heard mixed stories about those times for both of the cars. S2000 might have 240hp @ 8300 but a punny 153lb-ft or torque @ 7500 so the launch is some what slow. I've driven one before and it doesn't throw you back into the seat like the 430. However cronering is a different story its a smaller and more nimble car so you can throw it around corners at higher speeds although a 1G turn is pretty impressive from a GS.

Considering drag, GS should beat it no problem believe it or not......

A couple nights ago I was at a stoplight waiting to go up a slight hill. An ES300 is next to me looking as if it wanted a piece of me. So, before the light turned green, he was creeping a car length ahead and by the time I hit the pedal he was almost 1 and a half car lengths ahead. It took me about 3 seconds to catch up to him and zoom by...
Moral of the story, from a dead stop you can usually predict which car is going to win. However, if you got guys that really know how to street race by creeping past the light or creeping before the light, they have got a good 3 second jump on you before you get even with your opponent. So had there been a car in front of me within that 4 seconds...technically, he could post on the forum that he beat me and he hung with me. It's all perception. That's why I think sometimes track results are more accurate real-world test of how fast a car truly is...Food for thought...
PS I never street race...
