I am almost always at 20mpg, 50/50 city/highway. When I take trips on the freeway, I generally have lower 20's, but I am still traveling at least 80 most of the time.

Yikes! I routinely got 350 miles per tank with my 99TL and over 400 miles on all highway with no a/c.

My first tank of gas in a brand new GS 300 was 22.5 mpg with the a/c on most of the time

All this with Mobil super 93 octane. My wife says I'm cheap... maybe it's true!

Wow - "pretty responsibly" must be VERY gentle, plus you must do a fair bit of highway. Is that right?
