I really like the Answer TT kit (both versions), but I'm pretty sure this is JP. Take a look at the shape of the doors above the sideskirts - they are "thicker" than normal since they have panels attached. It's also got the JP grill, chrome door handles, and clear tails. But without the Scaras on there, even you're not sure if it's JP.

Johnny, you are the mod-craziest **** I have ever known!!!

That kit is just frickin' awesome. You deserve it, bro.

Now that I picked my jaw up off the floor, I still say you should go with the Shallens.....but of course I'm a little biased

what could go wrong if you open the rear doors before the fronts? I am thinking about a JP kit, so it would be nice to know. Do the caps just mess up or somthing?

haha yeah johnny, don't forget we used to have "access" to the jp car up close, so i still remember quite a bit about them

the problem with the door caps on the gs is that there is actually a "flaw" in the design. the door caps they stick out quite a bit. the problem is if you open the rear door without opening the front, the rear door cap will actually hit the front door cap. now i don't know if it will just rub against the front door cap, or if you push hard enough you will brake it. but either you don't even want to know the outcome.

so basically what you need to do is to open up the front door first, and then you open up the rear door. on a show car that's not too hard to do, but on a daily driver car, that could be a real pain. imagine 4 people in your car, every time you arrive at a place you have to yell "ok, rear pessengers do NOT open the door until the front are out". must be funny

and if you look at other jp cars, like the LS, at the "front" of the door caps (the area towards the front of the car), both front and rear door cap, they both have a cut out. that's to make sure you can open those doors without touching anything.

that's why i said it's a flaw in the gs kits design. well in fact, someone else said that too
