No, mine doesn't have this either.
As far as I know only the Jap spec cars have this.

It should be a pretty simple retro fit. It's a matter of wiring up a relay to trigger when your key is put into the off position (lack of ignition source). If you want some help with this, let me know and i'll see how I can help you. ...and the opposite when the key is turned back on. So it should work with 2 relays...

Wow....that would definitely be SICK....SICK....SICK!!!

As for wiring it up, I think tapping into the signal from the motorized steering wheel (same as the ignition signal) would be ideal.

Exactly what I had in mind...atleast that's where I would get the signal...I would use relays though as a voltage amplifier.

240sx guys do this all the time. I don't know how the Toyota's are wired, but I can't imagine anything more complicated than a lead wire that's connected to the "engine on" line, such as that on your stereo. Then ground it, I'm sure that's how it'll work. Not like you need a separate computer to control this function. Now, if you want to control this manually, then it'll be even easier. Just run a relay into any Radio Shack switch.

And since the JDM and USDM mirrors look identical, I'm sure it's a direct fit replacement. Unless Toyota has engineering consultants from Germany that believes NOTHING should ever be a direct replacement part.
