thoughts on this Alternator for the GS(200amp for $400)

has anyone dealt with alternator r upgrade ??

That is a pretty good deal. I bought my high-output alt from JP Importz and haven't had one single problem yet. It's a 180 amp.

the higher amp the alternator is, the more horsepower robbing drag it puts on your engine
