Default need parts list for timing belt replacement for 99 gs400

a friend and i are going to do the timing belt in our 99 gs4.

can someone provide me a full parts list (and part numbers if possible) for everything that i will need for this service.

all i know is i need the timing belt itself, a water pump, and a belt tensioner. i've been told that i need to replace as many oil seals as possible as well while everything is apart, but the only one i know of is the crank seal.

any help appreciated... thanks

my local lexus dealer is not very helpful. they are more interested in making money doing the service and selling parts at full retail to those who don't

they wanted $600 for the service manual!!! is it possible to find someone who sells it for less?

So you are saying our cars our chain driven and not belt driven?? Pretty sure it is a belt but ok.

As for a list with part numbers - here is what I have

13503-0F010 - Idler S/A Timing - $74.62
13505-0F010 - Idler S/A Timing - $74.31
16100-59275 - Pump Assembly, Water - $124.65
90916-02586 - Belt, V-Ribbed - $82.34
13568-09070 - OHC, Timing Belt - $54.87

Hope this helps,
Jonny

thanks jonny... it's a start!

but... what's the difference between the first 2 that u have listed above?

is the v-ribbed belt the serpentine belt?

anything for oil seals, like the crank seal, that they say should be done at the same time?

Hey man,

I am just going off the invoice I have so I am not sure what the differences are. As for seals

90311-A0001 - Seal, Type Oil - $7.66
90311-71001 - Seal - $16.33 x2 = $32.66

Hope this helps.

Bumping an old thread. Does anyone know what the idler sub assembly is? Does it really need to be replaced as part of the 90k?
