Interior Temperature Sensor Question

Interior Temperature Sensor Question
Does anyone know where is the location of the interior temperature sensor (or climate control sensor)? I am having a problem lately. When I set my AC temperature at 75 at Auto and outside temperature is like 90+, it will blow cold air at max wind speed for like 10 minutes plus, but after that, when all the people inside feel "COLD" and I start to adjust the temperature upward to 76...77...78, it still blowing COLD air, not until I adjust it to like 79 and sometimes 80 will I feel comfortable. I don't think that's right. Is that something wrong about my car temperature sensor? Are there anyway to check? WHat is the problem? My car is still under extended warrantry so if that's a major AC problem, I can still fix it at no cost. Thanks in advance for any input.

You said 2G ( I think you mean 2000 model year), however, mine is 1999 model year GS300, and it wasn't like this when it was new, only after 3 or 4 years later. I was thinking dose it have anything to do to clean the temperature sensor to "make" it read more accurate. But I have to know where is the sensor first.

anyway, my climate control works no problem. i always have it around 72 to 74 and i am very comfortable no matter how hot it is outside. on the other hand my sc430 is ice cold, i usually need to have it about 2 degrees warmer

Thanks for clealifying the 1G 2G and 3G...issue
Anyway, does anyone know where is the sensor? Someone said it's on the dashboard (one is the light sensor andother one is the temp sensor) someone said that it was the one that is knee high. which one is the correct answer? Or both? Or our 2G GS is so high tech that it took the average of the 2 sensors and then blow out the most desire temperature to the interior of the car?
I an thinking if the knee high vent below the steering wheel is indeed the temp. sensor location, would a simple clean up by a vacum hose be a good idea to clean up the clog? Anyone try that before?
