Default ATTN: Silver GS400 owners..

Haven't gotten one yet, but I need to ask a few questions.

I know that the Alpine Silver color on the GS400 only comes in black or charcoal color (want ivory, but will live with black or so).

My questions are:

1. How how does your interior yet? My acura legend was burning hot (its tan colored), but then the tint wasn't as dark as it should have been.

2. As far as wood trim, do you guys get the grey wood or the red/orange?

Thanks a bunch!

GSXLEX is right, if your car sitting in the sun for a couple hours doesnt matter what color is the interior. ITS HOT
unless you have remote starter to start your car a few minute before you get into it, or leave your window down just a lil bit

1. Interior gets hot but nothing unbearable (for me at least). The nice thing about the GS is you can roll all the windows down before stepping foot inside by simply inserting the key and turning it clockwise in the driver's door. Also all the windows are 1-touch down/up, so you can just jump in and press all the buttons once without holding them down.

2. I didn't know there was a gray wood option. The Platinum edition has Birds Eye Maple wood, which is lighter than the standard wood.

with the right tints your car shouldnt get very hot unless its left in direct sunlight with windows up for a long period of time... and that was the only time ive burned my a$$ on a seat

nothin worse than any other car having leather though. besides, the interior on the gs is really second to none with fit and finish, so if it gets hot who cares!?

Perhaps I was looking at a car with aftermarket trims

i wish i had a black leather. the interior looks much better in black (in my opinion). I if had the black, i would have the wood painted alpine silver, or get some sort of brushed aluminum look

The grey leather isn't very hot, compared to black. my car has a light tint, and is cooler inside than my work car. 93 honda accord, with leather)

i have black interior.. get some tints and you'll be fine.. the interior cools down quick once you have the a/c running... i had a legend before.. one reason i got rid of it is because of the poor a/c system. that would not be a problem with the gs.

alpine silver/black here. I'm on my second one with this color combo. The black interior gets hot, but so does any other interior if the sun is shining on it. I find it helps if you pull the sunshade closed. Other than that, I wouldn't let this factor sway you from choosing a black interior if that's what you like. By the way, I've seen alpine silver with ivory interior (maybe it was a custom order), and it just doesn't match up right. Your best bet is black or grey. Hope this helps.
