Default ECU upgrade

well my bro-in-law might be getting either a 98 or 00 GS3..i cant remeber what year..but anyway he was asking if i know of any upgrades to make it alil bit faster and i told him bout the ecu upgrade..now i just wanna know how much HP do you gain?? and does it even do anything significant?? thanks in adavance

As far as plug and play, there is no engine ECU upgrade. There is an L-Tuned steering ECU but that is about it.

maybe you're thinking about the srt intake with the ecu upgrade
