My best friend wants to get these wheels for his S500 and I heard about these wheels from people, on Clublexus, and in ads. Though, need some info on quality, chrome finish, reliablity.. etc.. Before my friend spends $8-10k on these, he gotta make sure.

Latrell Sprewell of the NY Knicks has a set of these on his CL600. They look dope. IMO spending 10 grand on a set of rims is pretty silly. Yet again, when your salary is a few million per year and you own a $150 Benz, $10,000 rims don't sound that outrageous.

You don't have to worry about the quality and reliability...HRE manufactures the rim for Davin...Davin did the designing and HRE builds it for them...
You can call Sprewell Racing (Latrell's shop) and they can give you all the info...I think they're the official distributor...
PERSONALLY, I think it's kinda wacked...I'm not into the whole spinning thing...it's very...hmmm, pointless and heavy...hope he plans on doing a brake upgrade too!
I'd rather buy 2 or 3 sets of rims instead...Or I'd buy one set of rims and then buy other accessories (like a body kit, engine mods, brakes, etc.)

He is going to mod out his S500 and put it in the car show and thats pretty much the only reason he wants that because he would be one of a kind there (at least with the rims that is). He got quoted at $10,200 so far :eek: :eek:

Davin wheels
The Davin wheels are VERY nice quality. My brother had a set on his 2001 S500. He pulled them off had them on the car just to shoot pictures for out new ads.
The rims are for sel now with tires already mounted, give chad "my bro" a call at 913-962-5200 he is open m-sat 9:30-6:00 CST

man, i keep watchign that video with the navigator and stuff, makes me wanna get a LS430 drop it and put 20" davin rims on it with 2 15" subs in the back and everything!!
