This is what I'm putting together for the GS brake upgrade:

(2) Supra TT 4-piston calipers
(2) RT cross-drilled rotors
(1) Factory Toyota TT brake pads (front set)
(1) Impulse SS brake lines (set of 4)

Total price is $889.00, all parts are brand new

These are the same parts I'm using on my own Supra, I'm just trying the Hawks HPS brake pads instead.

The rotors are by Race Technologies, a local Brembo distributor. They are cross-drilled, cad plated and dynamically balanced. Brembo DOES NOT make stock cross-drilled/slotted rotors for the GS, only for their upgraded brake kit.

I had another local company, Impulse Racing, make the GS brake lines to insure fit.

They are some different combos we can make for this:

Hawks HPS front pads add $40.00
RT cross-drilled rear rotors (stock) add $250.00

Sorry I don't have an elaborate photo, I'm on a low budget.

Hey Steve, those look really good. Is it me or are those rotors goldish colored? Can you get them in silver?

I sent you a couple emails to your gonzo email address last night about some other parts, please respond when you get a chance.

Hi Bobcat,

Yeah, that's the cad plating on them. The surface will wear off shortly after some braking, the "hat' part will not.

TRD has some 5 slot rotors available in silver I can do for the same price.

I'll try to pick-up my email from home and get you an answer.

Are the rotor diameters one inch bigger than the stock GS rotors?

Steve,

Nice combition and good price. I have the Supra calipers already, I'm interested in the cad plated x-drilled rotors. How much for the front pair?

Thanks.

Steve,

Are these the same size as stock GS brakes? From prior postings, I've read that some Supra or aftermarket brakes won't fit inside the stock GS wheels.

Also, do you (or anyone) have thoughts on getting this stuff installed by a Lexus? How about if it were TRD parts?

I haven't found a good speed shop I trust in Charlotte, and don't have the time to put these in myself these days.

Thanks,
David

Steve:

Is the "Supra" badging cast in the caliper, or is it just painted on? I can do without that badging on my GS.

Hey Steve...

how much would it be if

1) Supra TT calipers
2)TRD SS lines
3)TRD pads
4)Brembo rotors (Supra TT rotors)

would this be better or about the same... ??? this is what someone suggested I get if I
wanted and low budget brake upgrade.. I personally have no opinion about these
brake upgrades...

Brembo doesn't have OEM size cross-drilled for SupraTT calipers. They only have the rotors for upgrade kit.
