NEW Q45 Test Drive in Ft.Worth Texas

My buddy with a 97 Q45 recieved an invite from Infiniti to attend a test drive of the 2002 340hp 4.5ltr Q45. The test is March 10th at Texas Motor Speedway north of Ft.Worth. Available for comparision will be Lexus, Mercedes, Jaguar, and BMW models. He called to register but they were BOOKED UP!!! What a bummer. Gonna drive on the track at high speed with a race instructor and then drive the competition for comparision. Man, would have been great. We were gonna leave the women and take a road trip....what a let down. Anyone else heard of this or GOING IN MY PLACE

BTW, the promo literature claims a 5.9 0-60 which is SLOWER than the GS400 at 5.7-5.8. Doesn't make any other claims but if it really makes 340hp it should definitely pull a 400 on the top end unless it is pig heavy or geared like crap. I saw the car in person at the auto show here in Houston. I like it but the brakes shure looked smaller than I would like (same concern on the Audi S8 with 360hp).

Can you pls ask your buddy if he has a 1-800 number for Q45 test drive? I would like to find out if the tour is coming to the SF Bay Area.
