Help. Anyone here lowered their car and has a Greddy Exhaust? Will the exhaust constantly hit the ground?? Will it damage the exhaust??

I drop 2.5" of my car and there is fairly amount of distance between my exhausts and ground.

If the exhausts hit the ground, they will be damaged somehow.

Yes,
It will... I lowered the car with H&R springs and it would scrape going out of driveways. I have heard of people welding on protective plates on the mufflers for protection and those go damaged pretty bad as well. Also, the canisters are cylindrical and not flat and oval like the Borla Exhaust on Racing Aristo's ride which reduce clearance even more.

This is my one and only ciriticism of the Greddy exhaust. You will have to be very careful driving out. Another option is to have a muffler shop redo the piping directly behind the muffler and move the muffler closer to the body.

Check out this thread...It has a little more details...

Hope this helps.
