Default 99 GS400, L Tuned, Moda 18" R6's

Well I'm very happy with the car, here is a picture of how I bought it, and on subsequent posts, pictures of how its sits today. It was purchased with 69,000 on it. Now running at about 86,000.

....and a pic of how it sits today...

L Tuned shocks/struts, DIY chrome grill, and 18x8 / 9 Moda R6" have made it look and handle much better. Also had the front cover resprayed, licence plate holes removed, and chips taken out.

(thanks for the tip, J CL!

Thanks!

Yes, I'm sure mine is mild compared to a mod junkie's car like yours, but hey it is my daily driver and I do have a 5.8L Vortech supercharged Mustang coupe (491 ft-lb rear wheel torque!) in the garage next to the GS...

Yes thanks, the one in the picture isn't my house but I'm a few streets over. It is a new subdivsion set in a rural setting, not far from Dallas... same small (pop 1700) city as the "Dallas" TV show's Southfork...my commute is 28 miles but hey that's how I got the wife to let me spring for the GS!

Hey ChuckB, I have been following your car a while and your OEM GS18's, I have to say are true OEM perfection on the 2nd Gen GS! Interesting to hear you had a notch too! Are you planning on a drop?

Thanks for the compliments on the Moda's, I had these on my Mustang and they fit perfectly, (M2300K Cobra brake kit means it likes a deep offset out back, so the 45mm on these 9" wheels is optimal) but since my GS's OE 17's were low on tread, I slipped the Moda's over to the GS.

If your run across any more OE GS 18's, let me know!

Car looks great!! Personally I think your car is what the 2nd gen. GS should have looked like from the factory. Great job. Love the wheels too.
