dude its a bunch of b.s. you shouldn't have to shave anything and sacrifice the integrity of the rim inorder for them to fit...i say return them if you can and get a set that properly fits.

If they are sticking out the offset is not for the car. take them back or sell them but don't shave anything off the back of the rim to make them fit.

So there is nothing that can be done to fix/adjust this? I got such a killer deal on the wheels it pains me to have to lose them

I dont believe there is anything that can be done safely. You are better off losing the great deal than dealing with the headaches that will be sure to accompany any attempt to try to make these wheels fit

Doesn't the front usually stick out more when you buy 20's?

I have 20x8's on 245/35/ZR20 and the front sticks out more. Every shop I've been to has told me that. Couldn't you just use a (small) spacer to even it out more? I figure unless you go staggered, the front would stick out more. In fact, non staggered 20's I've seen on the road are more like that than not. Particularly on cars.

your front doesn't "stick out more".... it "looks that way coz' the rear fender and wheel well setup will allow a wider and more aggressive wheel (whole idea behind stagger setup). so if you put the same wheel setup all around, the rear appears to be more "inset" compared to the front

his problem now is that the front sticks out PAST the fender. that is a big big problem

I can totally understand your pain, but killer deal or not, they are not the right fit for your car. Find someone who would really want those wheels and maybe you can actually make some money on them.

Yes, there is something you can do...get wheels that fit properly. You drive a Lexus, not an Impala. Shaving, drilling...whatever. Get wheels that fit. Everyone who replied says the same thing but you're hoping someone says "do it." If you do, don't tell us when it backfires on you.
