Im sure there will be those of you that dont like it..... But compaired to 99% of the 7's running around this one is the ****!

thats actually a 740i not iL, the iL has 5" longer wheelbase which carries over to tons of rear leg room. my dad bought this exact car a few weeks ago(2001 7401 w/sport package) in a dark grey. staggered 18"s. rides very nice-i had it to 115 recently and she was solid as a rock

What's so special about this bummer? I mean 2 or 3 of my neighbors has this car! I've roasted 1 of em'!!! Not worth the $$$ If we're gonna post "alternate rides " up in here, and it's not a "LEX", then it might as well be something such as this! :eek:

Why is this run-of-the-mill 740 special?
I also don't get the "Bad *** 740" part?
What's special about it? What's "bad ***" about it? Why is it "the ****"?
If I wanted a boat, I'd look at an LS 400/430. At least I wouldn't spend my time and $$ kissing the dealer's *** to PLEASE fix it.

Why don't bimmer change that interior?! I just don't like that plain black buttons with the dull looking wood. Every model is the same exact thing. Plain BORING IMO.

I'm with the rest, what the hell is so special about this 740i? I have seen that same car on the road in NY many times in that color and others, so it's not one of a kind at all. It's just a stock 740i, big whoopie!! Love the CD-changer in the trunk though

As i said before some of you will not like it. I think it is awesome for a BMW. I know it will not run with the gs400/430 but then again it wasn't designed to. If you want to talk about a boat and performance lets compare the LS430 to the 750.il or the LX 450 to the X5, see they are not even in the same class..
I didn't come here to start a fight. I just thought that those of you that are car freaks would appreciate BMW's ideas on what the 7 series can do and look like.....
As far as parts go those are the 18x10 (rear) 9's (front)M duel 5 spokes i think. all the chrome is removed. it has a lower suspension, (about inch i think) trans cooler, stall converter, and performance rear end gear.......
Like I said before. It looks bad *** compared to most the 7 series on the road.

oh sorry, well we just thought itwas a stock 7 with the M rims....
it does look badass though...
but not as badass as a GS's HID's at night... just my opinion
