No, it's not the sunroof shade. I have that rattle intermintantly and I know how to fix it but on my car it just isn't that bad.

This rattle comes periodically based on weather and road conditions - it seems to get 'agitated' and really start acting up on certain days and then eventually just goes away for several days at a time. It's a pretty loud rattle, I can hear it clearly with or without the sunroof open, with or without the stereo on (though not at louder volumes), and when it is happening, it tends to mostly happen when going over bumps in the road.

I can't imagine it's THAT hard to fix but just wondered if anyone else is familiar with this particular part rattling and if there's a specific fix, or if I just need to pull the whole thing off and felt the hell out of it?

I'm having the same problem. Mine rattles too until I push up on it. How do I open the homelink module so I can felt it? Do I just slide a screwdriver up there to pry it open?
