Default am I asking too much for the car?

I put my car on the trader last week, I got couple of calls and one guy came to see the car, the car has 98k km or 61k miles on it, second owner, always serviced at dealer, and its butt stock. On the trader I'm asking $25500 (that's Cdn), the only reason I'm asking $25500 is just to seperate the lookers from the buyers and the guy who came to see the car wanted $22k, which in my opinion was too low, I told him I want to sell it in the $24-$24500 range.

so what do guys think? what's a reasonable price to sell the car?

I just ran a quick check on Kelly Blue Book kbb.comfor private party sales. I kept all preset options but added CD (I'm assuming you have one). On "good" it booked for $20,625 and on "excellent" it booked for $21,840. Intially, I thought your price was fair. This is what kbb books for in my area at least. Hope this helps.

honestly, around $22k is probably about right.

edit: I just checked edmunds and it says $18-19k. I would take $22k.

Remember that he's dealing with Canadian dollars up there.... 25k Canadian is roughly 22k USD so I'd stick with your acceptable range.

I'm not asking in American fund, its in Canadian fund.

the other closest ones all have well over 100k km on the odo, I really want to sell the car before snow hits the road to make thing easier.
