i just got my tte lip in yesterday and the lip looks funny... i contacted darrell and he was very prompt with replying... he stated that it is normal, that the lines i see is actually the process of making the lip... he provided some more pix of another lip that has the same thing... i forgot to mention darrell gave me the option to a full return.

so what do u guys think about the lip? should i keep? return? exchange?





the groove looks kinda jacked

closer towards one of hte ends of the lip there is a crack... maybe about 1inch on the bottom side of the lip..is that normal too? should i be affraid of that as well... sorry no pix

Mine looked very similar. Many spots looked like it was 'sanded' or 'patched'. It is probably just a part of the fabrication process. Overall, it was very smooth to the touch and close to being prepped for paint.

when i test fitted it sat pretty snugged.. so i guess its pretty normal?

yea, thats normal...The body shop has to prep and prime first anyway, so it really doesn't matter...

Mine did, it is more like a emblem rather than a sticker. There is a flat spot on the lip for the body shop to apply it.
